I've taken my dog to Eads Animal Hospital for several years now and have been very pleased with the care received. The vets and vet techs really care about my dog and he actually enjoys going to see his "friends" at Eads.

I've been a client of Drs. Sandy and Tim Montague for eleven years (longer than most marriages last!) and have been so impressed by their genuine caring and concern for my animals. We currently have 6 dogs and 2 cats and the Montagues and their staff know them all by name. Over the course of the years we have had the usual vaccinations, immunizations, check-ups, of course, but also our share of emergencies and surgeries for our pets. One of our dogs is allergic to the immunizations and Dr. Sandy always makes sure to give him "pre-shot" medication so he doesn't swell-up! Dr. Sandy and Dr. Tim have been there for me during more doggie stomach viruses and accidents than I care to remember. Dr. Sandy and staff worked long, hard hours when our litter of 12 puppies got sick! Dr. Tim has performed TPLO surgery on two of our Labs (one of the dogs had surgery on both hind legs) and has given them many active running, jumping years that they would not have had otherwise. The diagnostic equipment they have at Eads Animal Hospital is far superior to what my family physician has! They have a digital x-ray machine that gives 3-D views of your animal, and they do laser surgery, and also use a laser for healing wounds and strained muscles.

I would never take my dog there for grooming again! Horrible experience. My 7 pound dog who has excellent grooming manners, came back extremely frightened and limped for three days. I discovered that when they clipped the hair on her belly, they had actually clipped her nipples off. When I called the vet office to report the problem, the comment was that they were aware that there are issues with one of the groomers. They did apologize, but did nothing to correct the situation nor offered that the groomer would be spoken to. For many months, my dog has continued to be frightened of being groomed to the point where she will cringe and tuck her tail. What used to be a very happy dog to visit the groomer is now one that needs alot of special attention. Very bad experience.

I agree with the price statement. If you are on a budget there are much more resonably priced facilities in the city. The doctors are kind, not sure about groomers, as I have a cat.

I have found them to have some of the highest prices in the city. Do not take your pet to be groomed there! I have known several people that suspect mis-treatment and abuse from grooming handlers. I cannot take my dog to get groomed anywhere because she is so frightened now.
